This might be a more appropriate sentiment for New Years, but 2017 really has been…something, hasn’t it? I hope you’ve all gotten through it without too much damage and have managed to protect a little bit of hope for better times ahead.
I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but I don’t. Just do your best to tune out the ugly for a couple of days and enjoy the occasion. Despite being a “non-believer” of the highest order I actually love Christmastime. I get along with my family (which I know not everyone can say), I really enjoy the traditions we’ve built over many decades, and, well, the food. Let’s just say that there have always been good cooks in my family and my sister married a chef, so, yeah, good times.
Anyway, I’ll have a bit of good news to post here when we get closer to New Years Day, but until then, safe travels, don’t worry about the fat, carbs, whatever, hug the ones who are still here and have those who aren’t in your heart (Hey, Dad!). Until then, enjoy a little Christmas music.
