The Tanner Ba’ Stadium Project: Map One

Screen Shot 2015-11-17 at 8.36.26 AM

Well, here we go again!

We’ll start “at home” with all of the stadiums we’ve visited in the U.S. (and the Bahamas!) Two things to note about this list:  Those stadiums that are not part of the database will be in italics and those that have been added since the last, long ago, update, will be in red.  There also a few that were on our list last time that have since been added to the database, so while the lists might not look much longer, the map will be a bit more crowded.

Woah, I didn’t realize Buck Shaw was technically Santa Clara! It’s only 3/4 of a mile as the crow flies from the new Avaya Stadium, but the SC/SJ city line runs in between there! Maps are cool – excuse my nerdout moment!

I believe Buck Shaw was actually Santa Clara’s baseball (old football?) stadium, which is why the size was all wrong, the site lines were terrible, etc.. They revamped it for soccer only before SJ moved in, but you could only make it so “good.”
