It had been my intention to post the long-awaited update to the Tanner Ba’ Stadium Project today, but that’s not going to happen…it may not happen tomorrow either, but Tuesday, Tuesday looks good!
Basically, it’s been so long since I’ve used the site that generates the football ground maps that I ran into several issues: 1) my account was linked to an email address that I closed several years ago and while I eventually found my around that hurdle, when I logged in I realized that 2) while I remembered how to view the maps, I couldn’t remember how to update them! Eventually I figured that out as well, but…and this is actually a good thing, 3) we as a group have now gone past the point where I can show everything in three simple maps (North America, UK & Ireland, Continental Europe) and have you be able to make any sense of it. The result of this last point is that I’m going to have to generate (and cut and paste) somewhere between six and eight maps and I’m also going to have to go back and re-work the lists (which reader or readers visited which grounds) in order to have the match the new maps. Again, that’s pretty much just a matter of cutting and pasting, but time consuming nonetheless.
Also, I’m hungry* and the Patriots’ game is on soon. So, you know, priorities.
*Side note: I’ve lost 15lbs in the last two weeks and only part of it is stress-related!
