Ross County F.C. 2 – 0 Aberdeen F.C.

It's that man...Brian Graham (twice!).

It’s that man…Brian Graham (twice!).

So, um, Ross County F.C. of Dingwall are in third place in the Ladbroke’s Scottish Premiership, behind only Celtic and today’s opponent, Aberdeen.

There are 5,500 people in Dingwall and there were 5,500 in attendance at Victoria Park this evening.

I’m not even sure what else I have to say about today’s match except that every summary of it I’ve read has said that, if anything, the score flattered Aberdeen.

Here are the goals for you to enjoy.

Oh, and how nice is it to hear Derek Rae on the microphone as your club beats the league leaders?

Very nice.

Early days, but a top 6 finish at the end of the season should be the very least County should be playing for now. We are more than competitive against the other teams, and have been solid away from home. In fact I’d be disappointed if we don’t make the top 6 after this start.

The way I’m looking at it is that if we can be in the top six when the January window opens we’ll be golden. We’ve managed to strengthen the squad at midseason each year in the top flight and if we can do that operating from a position of strength they’ll be nothing to do but move up the table from January on!
