Ross County F.C. Announce Hungarian Preseason Fixtures

We’ve known for months that Ross County F.C. would be- for obvious reasons- forgoing their recent preseason trips to the Netherlands in favor of a trip to Hungary, and we now know the clubs that will provide the opposition in two weeks time.

On July 14 Ross County will take on Nemzeti Bajnokság II (Second Division) side Soroksár SC 1905 at the Globall Sports Complex outside of Budapest.  Soroksár finished in the middle of the table this year.  If you like their club crest you might want to buy a vintage Macintosh computer and fire up “MacPaint.”  What I’m saying is it’s not good.  Is that “Comic Sans” italic that they’ve used for the club name?

On July 27 Ross County will again play at the Globall Sports Complex, this time against Szolnoki MÁV who finished sixth in the Nemzeti Bajnokág II this season.  Szolnoki have a better crest, but one that some might consider…suggestive.

Ross County will also play a number of Highland League clubs during its annual preseason public relations tour of the Highlands.
