Another Day, Another Ross County Signing

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s signing of left back Darren Holden, Ross County F.C. today announced the signing of midfielder Stewart Murdoch to a two year contract.

Murdoch, a 25 year old Aberdonian, 2013-2015 at League One Side Fleetwood Town F.C. (including a loan to Northampton Town F.C.).  He began his career in the youth system at Falkirk F.C., where he debuted for the senior side as a 19 year old in 2009.  While at Falkirk Murdoch spent time on loan at both Berwick Rangers F.C. and East Fife F.C., before moving south to join Fleetwood Town.

Given the exodus of experienced midfielders from Victoria Park since the end of the 2014-2015 season Murdoch should be expected to contend for a spot in the starting eleven in the 2015-2016 season.

It goes without saying that Murdoch has already elevated himself (fashion-wise) above certain other, unnamed, recent signings by showing up for his picture in a stylish motorcycle jacket and with a decent haircut.

Well done, Stewart!
