As promised, the highlights from this weekend’s matches between Ross County F.C. and Hamilton Academical F.C. and the New England Revolution and Toronto F.C..
Two things of note from these highlights: First, watch the replay of Gardyne’s goal. You can see him yell to Filip Kiss and use his left hand to point to the spot where he wants the pass- despite the chaos in the box Kiss hears and sees Gardyne and delivers a perfect ball that Midge buries in the back of the net. Second, watch the replay of whatever it was that got Kiss a red card. I don’t know what it could have been, I can’t even see anything worthy of a yellow card!
In this case there’s only one thing worth watching and every other club in MLS should watch it too- the New England goal. They seem to score off a play like this every week. Everyone knows- or should know- it’s coming and there’s still nothing to be done about it. Also, how London Woodberry was out of MLS for almost two seasons is beyond me, he could easily be a “Best XI” player by the time the season ends.
