WHEELS UP!!!

aerlingus

Well folks, the long wait is over.

As you read this I am driving east to my friend Blair’s house- she has been kind enough to offer me a place to park my car while I’m gone as well as my own personal “shuttle service” to and from Logan Airport.  This is SUPER nice of her, but then again, when she tagged along with me on part of my trip to Scotland in 2012 I showed her some super cool stuff so I like to think we’re just settling up our accounts.  I will bring her a “thank you” gift from Scotland because, you know, I’m classy like that.

I leave Boston for Dublin at 7:15pm this evening, get into Dublin at 5:30am and I’ll be on the ground in Glasgow at 8:00am.

You’ll be happy- I hope!- to know that while I’m gone there will be plenty of content here on the Tanner Ba’  I’ve pre-posted an article for each segment of my trip so you’ll always know where I am and what I’m doing.  There will be a VERY special SUPER awesome kit-related post on March 17 (St. Patrick’s day if that helps you remember).  I very rarely promote content on my own site, but I cannot stress to you enough how AMAZING this post is going to be, so stop by, comment, and if you check back later you will find that your comments will have been answered by a very special guest.

I’ll also be posting pictures and comments from the road as events dictate and time and technology allow.  Sculptor?!? will be at the controls while I am gone to ensure that my nonsensical ramblings- with pictures- are hammered into some sort of digestible form before being passed on to you.

Behave yourselves- I’m OUT!
