The Adams Family Have Been Cancelled

Screen Shot 2014-08-28 at 7.22.19 AM

I’m off to work just now and will be back later today with the full details, but Ross County F.C. have released the following statement this morning:

Ross County FC and their Manager and Director of Football, Derek and George Adams, have come to an agreement, whereby they will part ways, effective from today.

Chairman, Roy MacGregor wishes to recognise the contribution both have made to the journey that Ross County FC have made over their years with the club and wish both well in their future careers.

Further details of the club’s continuing restructuring will be made available as plans are ratified over the following days.

Assistant Steve Ferguson and captain Richard Brittain will lead the club against Hamilton Academical F.C. this weekend.

Stay tuned…

Huh. Someone(s) in the front office less than pleased with the direction of this year’s squad?

I know nothing, but this almost sounds like the Adams were the ones most upset, and decided to leave. The off season was particularly strange, and that just resonates to me as upper management having their hands in the business of the GM. Of course it could be that their plans they did have came for naught and they are taking the blame for that and were shuffled out the door. I find myself sad at this.
