A very special Prime Minister’s Question Time

PeteI came across an item this week that I found so interesting (which probably says more about me than I’d care to admit) that I thought it could stand on it’s own for this feature.  With all of the resources at your collective disposal I honestly don’t know if this will incredibly easy or incredibly difficult.  Either way, as I said, I think you’ll find it interesting.  Here we go:

One Premier League club has worn essentially the same home shirt (same colors, same template)* since the 1930s.  That home shirt, however, has an interesting history.  The home “shirt” was actually the white cricket shirt that the club wore for away matches with a custom-made colored vest worn over it.  Eventually, this “combination” became a single shirt which retained the same look.

The question:  What is the club?

You know the rest of the rules…no spoilers…answers by midnight on Tuesday.

*A case could be made that they’ve only deviated from the original design eight times in the last 80 years or so.
