The Venga Bus is Dead- LONG LIVE THE VENGA BUS!!

We’ll miss you, old friend.

Sad news today from the Twitter feed of Ross County midfielder Paul Lawson:  the legendary Venga Bus which has transported a group of County players to and from Victoria Park Global Engergy Stadium for the past few years has gone to the great wrecking yard in the sky.  You may remember that the Venga was given a reprieve back in February when a generous local mechanic brought her back from the dead, but this time the problems appear to have been of the “terminal” kind.  It is unclear at the present moment if there will be a “Venga Bus 2.0,” but if there is I’ll bring you all of the details as soon as I know them.

In the meantime, the Tanner Ba’ would like to extend it’s sincerest condolences to those Staggies past and present who rode the Venga Bus with pride:  Paul Lawson, Grant Munro, Michael Gardyne, Johnny Flynn, Steven Craig, Kurtis Byrne, and Dax MacCormack.
