Ross County F.C. traveled to Tannadice Park in Dundee tonight for a rare Friday SPL match necessitated by the whole Rangers-are-out-of-business-and-Dundee-are-promoted kerfuffle where they battled the second place Tangerines to a 0-0 draw. The draw, County’s fifth in six matches, extended their unbeaten streak to 40 league matches and gives them 8 points from those first six SPL matches. 8 points are enough to bring the newcomers level on points with second place Dundee United, though County are actually behind both United and Celtic as those clubs have played fewer matches. Still, whether it’s second place on points or fourth place in reality, it’s still great!
It’s time for Derek Adams to find a way to get the Ross County offense clicking, but until that happens County can be quite pleased by a few things:
Again, I’d really like to see the club start scoring goals and collecting wins, but a point on the road against one of the league’s best clubs will do me just fine until that starts to happen!
‘mon the County!
