Question: How Does Andy Murray Roll?

Answer: Big.

What does this have to do with football?

Sean Connery played two seasons for junior side Bonnyrigg Rose F.C. and turned down a trial with East Fife F.C. (a much more impressive club then than now) when his acting career started showing promise.

Murray’s grandfather, Roy Erskine, began his career in the youth set-up at Hibernian and went on to play at Stirling Albion and Cowdenbeath.  Murray himself turned down a spot at Rangers’ “School of Excellence” to focus on his tennis career.

Sir Alex Ferguson was a very good player and hasn’t done too poorly as a manager.

Congrats to Andy Murray, U.S. Open Champion.
